El Nino Tracker1: Thresholds crossed but will it sustain?

During the last two weeks, Nino3.4 SSTs has crossed threshold levels but still much weaker than the 1997-98 event it is being compared to. Warming in the South Western Pacific, Australia & South East Asia points to an El Nino more like 2002
