All models are now converging to predict landfall at or near Chennai.Personnally not very convinced of this forecasted track of IMD and others like The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts.Tend to agree with the US National Centre for Environmental Prediction who persists with the odd forecast that takes ‘Nilam’ for landfall over north-east Sri Lanka and adjoining south-east Tamil Nadu coast.I join my more experienced friends like Rajesh Kapadia and Akshay Deoras in forecasting landfall near or around NagapattinamTomorrow we will know whether right or wrong.
